The NorthShore Inline Marathon has a long tradition of bringing world class athletes to the shores of Lake Superior, but September 13, 2025 will go down as one of the most historic race days yet. Both the men’s and women’s overall course records were broken and five additional course records fell across divisions, making this year’s event one of the fastest in history.
Nolan Beddiaf Sets New Men’s Course Record
French skater Nolan Beddiaf etched his name into NorthShore history with a finish time of 55:22.54, setting a new men’s course record. His powerful performance through the rolling hills and scenic stretches of Highway 61 set a new standard for what is possible on the NorthShore course. The crowd at the Duluth finish line erupted as he crossed, knowing they were witnessing a moment that will be remembered for years to come.

Laura Alejandra Perdomo Moreno Breaks Women’s Course Record
On the women’s side, Colombia’s Laura Alejandra Perdomo Moreno delivered an equally stunning performance, crossing the line in 1:04:49.56. Her finish did more than claim victory, it rewrote the record books by surpassing the previous women’s record set in 2023 by fellow Colombian Gabriela Rueda, who had clocked in at 1:04:54.79. In a sport where every second counts, Perdomo Moreno’s achievement shows how competitive and fast the women’s field has become at NorthShore.

Five More Records Broken Across Divisions
The excitement did not end with the elite fields. Across five additional categories, course records fell as athletes of all ages and backgrounds pushed beyond limits and left their mark. From up and coming juniors to seasoned masters, skaters across the board proved that the NorthShore Inline Marathon is the place where records are made.
These performances highlight the depth of talent this event draws from around the globe. They also show how the combination of athlete dedication, community support, and one of the most iconic courses in the world makes the NorthShore a breeding ground for history making moments.
A Historic Day for Duluth and the Skating Community
The 2025 NorthShore Inline Marathon was about more than speed. Thousands of participants, volunteers, and fans came together to create an unforgettable atmosphere, from the start line in Two Harbors to the finish in Duluth.
With new records now in the books, the 2025 event proved why the NorthShore Inline Marathon remains the largest point-to-point inline marathon in the world. To every racer, from Nolan Beddiaf and Laura Alejandra Perdomo Moreno to the many division record breakers and first time finishers, congratulations on being part of this historic day.
